The Indiana University Schools of Nursing Regional Consortium for Graduate Programs is committed to preparing advanced practice nurses and nurses with graduate degrees who serve their communities with excellence, compassion, and innovation. Through collaborative engagement across four IU regional campuses, the consortium fosters accessible, high-quality graduate education in Nursing Administration, Nursing Education, and Family Nurse Practitioner tracks.

- Administration and Education tracks: Completed in six semesters (including Summer).

Program Tracks Offered
- A balance of online learning and face to face clinical that mirrors today's work environment with some classes meeting synchronously online up to 4 times per semester. Over 80% of the program is available online (lecture classes online, lab and clinical in person)
- Participate in a program that includes two major learning sections: preclinical scholarly application courses that provide a core foundation for advanced practice clinical courses that build on the preclinical foundation and add knowledge and applications used during direct clinical
- Faculty assist students with finding clinical placements.
- Complete 750 clinical hours under the guidance of faculty members and preceptors
- This degree qualifies graduates to sit for one of the two national FNP certification exams: ANCC or AANP.
- The Post-MSN graduate certificate option is available if you already hold an MSN degree and are seeking to become certified in an additional specialty area.
- Post-MSN certificates are available in the FNP track. The number of credit hours required to earn the certificate varies based on your previous education.

Most classes are delivered asynchronously, with a few synchronous online sessions (up to four per semester). More than 80% of the curriculum is online, while practicum and lab components take place on site.

Created for nurses who want to teach and develop the next generation of healthcare professionals, this track offers a hybrid learning model. Coursework is delivered through a mix of on-campus classes and synchronous online sessions (up to four per semester), with over 75% of the program available online. Two lecture courses require in-person attendance, while labs and clinical/practicum hours remain hands-on.
