Welcome to the School of Health Sciences Graduate Programs
Our Master of Science in Nursing prepares students for a career in advanced practice nursing. There are several track options students can choose from: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Post Masters FNP Certificate, Education and Administration.. FNP students will learn how to address the health concerns of well, at-risk, and chronically ill individuals and their families by providing direct care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Master of Education Students will learn adult teaching-learning principles for patients and students and curriculum development to enable employment in the clinical or academic environment. Master of Administration students will learn leadership and management principles for future employment in healthcare administration and management.
Our Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) graduate program prepares students to become Occupational Therapists to assist and support individuals across the lifespan to learn or regain skills that enable them to participate in meaningful and purposeful activities utilizing practices that are occupation-based and driven by science. The purpose of the degree is to provide entry-level occupational therapy education for individuals who (upon completion of program) will be eligible to take the required National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination.
Our Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MS-SLP) prepares students to practice as speech-language pathologists upon completion of the program. Students will develop clinical practices that embrace human dignity and meet the evolving needs of the population.
