Welcome to the Division of Health Sciences

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Health Sciences is a versatile degree that provides students with extensive preparation for work in any field that addresses people’s health. The objective of this program is to address the needs of those students seeking a broad understanding of the science of human health and its application to their chosen career. The degree will be delivered via traditional classroom format, include service-learning experiences with local agencies.

Students will progress towards degree completion unless they apply and are formally admitted to one of the clinical programs, such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene and/or Radiography/Medical Imaging.

Study Abroad Opportunities

IU South Bend offers various opportunities to study abroad. The Dwyer School of Health Sciences offers three study abroad courses to Belize, Costa Rica, and Sweden.
