Before Applying:

To apply for this master’s program, you need a bachelor’s degree (usually in speech and hearing sciences or communication sciences and disorders) with at least a 3.0 GPA from a college or university. You also need to have passed certain undergrad classes with at least a C grade. If your degree isn’t in this field and you haven’t taken those classes, you’ll need to finish them before or while taking your graduate classes.

Florida requires completion of a course on HIV and acquired immune deficiency syndrome; Washington requires four clock hours in AIDS education and training. Students should also note that the following states require that applicants pass a jurisprudence exam: Indiana, Maryland, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia. Program Prerequisites:

Application Review:

The best consideration date is February 1^st, with applications considered until the cohort is full on May 30^th. For International Students, the deadline is December 1^st.

Qualified Applicants:

Qualified applicants will participate in an interview.
- Scheduling will be determined by the Program.
Selected applicants for admission will be required to complete the IU Slate supplementary application.

Application Scoring:

Applications are reviewed based on cumulative GPA of last 60 credit hours, pre-requisite GPA, writing sample, in-person/virtual interview, and letters of recommendation.
