
Kristy Ludy is a Clinical Associate Professor of Nursing with the "Dwyer School of Health Sciences" at Indiana University South Bend. She completed her ADN at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, her BSN at Purdue University, and her MSN in nursing education at Brookline College. Dr. Ludy earned her Ph.D. in Nursing Education from Nova Southeastern University. Her research interests include student and graduate preparation for the NCLEX. She is a Registered Nurse and works as a Nursing Supervisor at Elkhart General Hospital. Dr. Ludy has experience in acute hospital care, mostly as a float nurse, long-term care, and pediatric and adult home health. She enjoys teaching all spectrums of nursing students from Fundamentals to Capstone. Dr. Ludy holds a certification as a Certified Nurse Educator. She is the coordinator for the Beacon Nursing Honor Guard and also participates in various other nursing-related committees and organizations.
