Kristy Ludy is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing with the "Dwyer School of Health Sciences" at Indiana University South Bend. She completed her ADN from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, her BSN from Purdue University (Calumet), and her MSN with emphasis in nursing education from Brookline College. Kristy is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing at Nova Southeastern University. She is a Registered Nurse and works as a Nursing Supervisor at Elkhart General Hospital. Kristy has experience in acute hospital care, over 10 years in the float pool, long-term care, along with pediatric and adult home health. She enjoys teaching all spectrums of nursing students from Fundamentals to Capstone. Kristy holds a certification as Certified Nurse Educator. She is the coordinator for the Beacon Nursing Honor Guard and also participates in various other nursing related committees and organizations.
