Gabriel Casas is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Dwyer School of Health Sciences. He has two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University San Marcos. He is a proud graduate of Indiana University South Bend with a Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) and is a Board-Certified FNP.
Gabriel is dedicated to supporting students in their personal and professional growth throughout their college experience. He fosters a growth mindset and firmly believes that, with effort, collaboration, and support, all students can achieve their goals.
Personally, Gabriel has pivoted from surfing to playing ice hockey since moving to the Midwest and he has a wonderful wife and daughter who appreciate the vibrant, walkable community of South Bend.
