Andrea Borders is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Dwyer School of Health Sciences, Indiana University South Bend. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana and is a board-certified Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Andrea also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), both from Wayne State University.
With teaching interests in complex illness management, family health, and physical assessment, Andrea is dedicated to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals. In addition to her academic role, she actively practices holistic medicine, emphasizing wellness and preventative care.
