There are many ways to support our program. All accounts supporting our program are managed by IU Foundation. One of our newest accounts is Titans Supporting Titans. This fund is used to help IU South Bend students and their immediate family get care for free in our clinic.

Indiana University South Bend is going through an exciting time in its history. Facilities and programs are expanding to meet the needs of our community. The campaign to fund the Dental Education Wing is part of that future. We need the help of alumni and friends to complete the campaign to make that future our reality.

"As an important part of their education, students treat patients in the dental clinic. This clinic not only provides a learning environment for students, but provides preventive services (cleanings, fluoride treatments, x-rays, sealants) at a very nominal fee to the public. During their clinical education, each student in the program treats approximately eighty-five patients and collectively treats over 2500 patients annually through the spring, summer, and fall semesters.

For over 40 years, IU South Bend has provided quality education for dental team members. The dental hygienists who will obtain current knowledge at the new IU South Bend facility will help meet the needs of the health care industry and improve access to oral health in our community."
