Dawn Hopkins is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the "Dwyer School of Health Sciences" at Indiana University South Bend. She completed her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology at Oregon State University and her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Notre Dame. Her teaching interests include biostatistics, health and wellness, and exercise physiology. She strives to provide skills to students which allow them to read, understand, and apply research to solve ongoing population health problems. In 2018, she was named a Trustees’ Teaching Award winner and was awarded an Indiana Campus Compact Service Engagement Grant to initiate a research study exploring functional movement and injury prevention within the South Bend Fire Department.
