Carmen Dielman, DHSc, LDH is a Senior Clinical Lecturer with the "Dwyer School of Health Sciences" at Indiana University South Bend. She has a doctorate in Health Sciences with a concentration in Global Health from Nova Southeastern University and is a Licensed Dental Hygienist. Dr. Dielman teaches in the Health Promotion and Dental Education programs and is the Coordinator for the Bachelors of Science in Applied Health Science online degree. Her teaching interests include global health, environmental health, intercultural health communication, and culture and diversity. Dr. Dielman has a passion for learning, healthcare, and serving others. In addition, she has led and participated in numerous mission and service learning trips to Haiti, providing dental care and preventive education, and setting up ongoing, sustainable dental clinics.
