Caitlin Vlaeminck MSN, RN, FNP-BC, has a Master’s of Science in Nursing with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the IU South Bend. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Bethel College, Mishawaka, IN. Professor Vlaeminck is the current Graduate Program Director for the MSN FNP program and a Clinical Assistant Professor in Nursing. She continues clinical practice as a Bone Health Nurse Practitioner at Michiana Spine, Sports, and Occupational Rehab. She is the medical coordinator for the National Osteoporosis Foundation Osteoporosis Support Group at the LifePlex in Plymouth IN. Professor Vlaeminck is also the current President of the Coalition of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Indiana (CAPNI) which advocates and supports Advanced Practice Registered Nurses in scope, education, and legal matters.
