ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY:
- Applicants who meet all of the GPA requirements and have completed all program prerequisite courses by November 2, 2026 will be considered first.
- Applicants who meet all of the GPA requirements and have completed all program prerequisite courses by December 14, 2026 will be considered second.

Before you begin the on-line BSN application, please have the following ready to upload:
Personal video: Please note, this is a pilot project. This video will not be used in the application ranking.
Submit one video essay (maximum 3 minutes total) responding to both prompts provided. Please wear professional attire. Your video may be recorded using a smartphone (e.g., iPhone) or any recording platform (e.g., YouTube or similar). Upload or provide a link to your video and attach it to your application. (If you are uploading a link please be sure settings allow public viewing.)

2. “Nursing education is rigorous and requires sustained time commitment, emotional resilience, and effective stress management. What specific steps have you taken to prepare yourself for the academic, personal, and professional demands of this program?”

RANKING:
- Application GPA (the weighted GPA of all program prerequisite courses): Exact GPA on a 4.0 scale is awarded for a total of 30%.
- Science GPA (the weighted GPA of the program prerequisite science courses): Exact GPA on a 4.0 scale is awarded for a total of 40%.
- Essay pilot project, not used in ranking
- Campus Enrollment (the weight assigned to the type of institution where the program prerequisite courses were taken): Up to 4 points are awarded for a total of 15%
4: All program prerequisite courses taken at any bachelor’s degree granting institution
2: Any program prerequisite course taken at a 2-year institution (i.e., community college, not including dual credit).
§ Course Repeat (the weight assigned to the number of program prerequisite courses that were repeated due to earned deficiency C- or below): Up to 4 points are awarded for a total of 15%.
4: No repeats of any program prerequisite courses 3: Repeat of 1 non-science course
2: Repeat of 1 science course
1: Repeat of 1 science course and 1 non-science course OR repeat of 2 non-science courses
0: Repeat of 2 science courses OR 3 non-science courses OR 1 science and 2 non-science courses
