APPLICATION TIMELINE:

ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY:
- Meet minimum GPA requirements as stated below.
- Have completed (or will complete) all required prerequisite courses by the program start date.
- Have successfully completed each required prerequisite course with a minimum grade of C by the second attempt and have not exceeded the repeat limit (no more than three required prerequisite courses or 11 total credit hours).
CLINICAL COMPLIANCE:
When students are accepted into the program, they are expected to complete and provide all required documents.
GPA REQUIREMENTS:
Application GPA: 2.70 Science GPA: 2.70 Cumulative GPA: 2.50
If a student was granted academic renewal by the University, then the student should use the Student Undergraduate Program Summary GPA instead of the Indiana University Undergraduate Summary GPA for their Cumulative GPA.
APPLICATION REVIEW TIERS: All students must meet the GPA requirements at the time of admission.
- 2nd Degree and direct admit students who complete all required program prerequisite courses by August 17, 2026.
- Students who complete all program prerequisite courses by May 18, 2026.
- Students who complete all program prerequisite courses (maximum of 6 cr. hrs. during summer session) by August 17, 2026.
- All other applicants.
RANKING:
- Application GPA (the weighted GPA of all application courses, see below for list of courses): Exact GPA on a 4.0 scale is awarded for a total of 30%.
- Science GPA (the weighted GPA of the required program science courses, see below for list of courses): Exact GPA on a 4.0 scale is awarded for a total of 40%
- Campus Enrollment (the weight assigned to the type of institution where the required program prerequisite courses were taken): Up to 4 points are awarded for a total of 15%
4: All program prerequisite courses taken at any bachelor’s degree granting institution
2: Any program prerequisite course taken at any 2-year institution (not including dual credit courses)
- Course Repeat (the weight assigned to the number of attempts of required program prerequisite courses that were repeated for any reason, see below for courses that are subject to the repeat policy). Up to 4 points are awarded for a total of 15%.
4: No repeats of any required program prerequisite courses
3: Repeat of 1 non-science course
2: Repeat of 1 science course
1: Repeat of 1 science course and 1 non-science course OR Repeat of 2 non-science courses
0: Repeat of 2 science courses OR 3 non-science courses OR 1 science and 2 non-science course
