Tina Hostetler, DNP, RN, NPD-BC earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Education Leadership from American Sentinel University. She earned her MSN in Healthcare Systems Management from Loyola, and her BSN from Purdue University. Dr. Hostetler is Board Certified in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC). Her nursing career spans more than three decades, with a distinct clinical focus in mental health. During her career, Dr. Hostetler taught numerous nurses and nursing students to care for those with mental illness, as both an adjunct clinical instructor and inpatient clinical educator. She is a fledgling author with two articles published to date on violence against nursing students, with further interests in the biological basis of behavior, the long-term effects of trauma, and improving care of the hospitalized psychiatric patient. Dr. Hostetler enjoys nature hikes, gardening, and studying ancient religions.
