Jennifer Riggs is a Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Nursing. She earned a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a BSN degree from Indiana University South Bend. Jennifer completed her MSN in Nursing Education at Ball State University. Her clinical background includes work as a medical/surgical and emergency room nurse. She currently works in the emergency department at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. She is also a trained forensic nurse and sexual assault nurse examiner and cares for both pediatric and adult victims of physical and sexual abuse. At IUSB, Jennifer puts the “fun” in fundamentals by using games, multimedia and hands-on activities to help 4th semester students learn nursing skills in the lab and clinical settings.
